The We rooms Hotel at Franz-Krug-Straße 10 in the Taunusbrunnen residential neighbourhood, which had invited guests to its summer party, was bathed in the summer breeze. The garden area, decorated with lanterns and garlands of light and furnished with plenty of cosy seating, was waiting for the guests. Light lounge music, summery drinks, refreshments and a food truck were intended to contribute to the relaxed summer atmosphere.
And the guests came. But the first port of call was the hotel itself. The guests who had registered for the guided tours of the hotel were quickly joined by other visitors, as interest was high. “I had hoped for this and am now very pleased,” said 29-year-old Tim Moser, Managing Director of Wohnraum-Entwicklung GmbH, which operates the hotel in Karben. The first project is We Rooms in Frankfurt city centre, which has been renting out a good 290 furnished flats and business flatshares there on a temporary basis since 2015. Tim Moser explains that the idea of a hotel came up in a social gathering with business friends, which then became a reality in Karben. There are now 18 employees working in both buildings and “we have increasing demand,” says Moser.
The We rooms Hotel in Karben opened successfully in April 2021. “Since opening, we have been 80 to 90 per cent fully booked,” says Tim Moser. Around 10 per cent are permanent guests who stay at the We rooms Hotel for an average of one month. The advantage is the good transport links to the main road and motorway as well as the S-Bahn nearby, which takes you quickly to the Main metropolis.

Auf den drei Etagen warten 39 Zimmer in vier Ausführungen vom Standard, Businessstudio, Comfort Studio und Luxussuite auf die Hotelgäste. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über High-Speed-WLAN, LED-TV und eine Küchenzeile mit Induktionsherd, Kaffeemaschine, Microwelle, Spülmaschine und Geschirr. Breakfast can be ordered and brought to the room. Hotel guests can do their laundry in the basement. During the tour of the hotel, the guests were able to take a look at each room category. In addition to the high-quality furnishings and stylish design, each room is individually decorated with over 70 paintings, graphics, drawings and sculptures. Für die künstlerische Gestaltung, auch in den Fluren, zeichnet der Frankfurter Bildhauer und Maler Achim Ripperger verantwortlich.
